Lee County Economic Development Win

Lee County announced a new economic win for the county and city. Service Offsite Solution is a Raleigh company that will build a new facility in Lee County.

What does Service Offsite Solutions produce?
SOS produces factory built framing components for home builders. The SOS products reduces the framing time for new construction from estimated 12 days to 2 days.

Where will the facility be located?
The 240,000 square-foot facility will be located on Colon Road.

How many Jobs?
235 jobs with an average salary of $50,000. The taxable investment is estimated at $18 million.

Jeff Thompson, vice president of operations of Service Offsite Solutions said, “Service Offsite Solutions is changing the way that residential framing is done in the Carolinas.”

Lee County Commissioner Kirk Smith said, “With Lee County’s location in the heart of North Carolina, placing us in close proximity to one of the largest home building markets in the U.S., this move will help further accelerate the impact of SOS on our county, state and country. The company’s investment will positively impact our community and broaden our tax base, truly making Lee County a place to live, learn, work and play.”
